Hi Its a new year and things are rapidly changing in the pit bike industry. Thanks to the Bankers we are all facing hard times. So far one major importer of Pitbikes to the UK has decided to pull out of the Market. Demon and lots of its distributors have no stock due to the rising prices of the bikes when they Hit the UK.
Other Importers like Stomp have cut back on their range due to the new prices as a result of the falling Sterling rates.
The major victim being the highly popular Superstomp 150cc K or KLX style bike.
These were being sold prior to Christmas for £650 including delivery. However the next container of bikes is due in to the UK in February, but the Superstomp 150K has been ommited from the line up due to an Estimated price rise to £950, which we feel customers would not pay.
However the amount of enquires for them has been huge, it makes us wonder whether the market will bare the new price rise after all.
